Michaela Robinson is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about working with survivors of complex trauma. She specializes in treating dissociative, personality, and other trauma-related disorders. She worked as a therapist for trauma patients at the Ross Institute for Trauma, headed by Dr. Colin Ross, and was trained in his Trauma Model approach.
Michaela utilizes psychodynamic theory while incorporating ego state therapy and person-centered approaches. She is also EMDR trained. Michaela believes in the power of healing relationships and emphasizes the importance of listening to the body and mind to heal from past trauma. Michaela resides in the Richardson area and offers virtual appointments. When she is not with her clients, she enjoys performing with the Dallas Symphony Chorus and picking on her cat.
