What is Complex PTSD (C-PTSD)?
Complex PTSD can develop after repeated or long-term exposure to traumatic experiences, such as childhood abuse, domestic violence, or prolonged neglect. While it shares similarities with PTSD, C-PTSD often includes additional symptoms like emotional dysregulation, chronic feelings of shame or guilt, difficulty trusting others, and a deep sense of disconnection from the self and others.
If you live with Complex PTSD, you may struggle with ongoing anxiety, mood swings, low self-worth, and a constant sense of danger—even in safe situations. Flashbacks, emotional numbness, and hypervigilance can make daily life exhausting and isolating.
But what if healing was possible?
