Malia Scott has a Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lubbock Christian university and is in the process of completing her Sex Therapy certification through Sexual Health Alliance, working toward AAESECT certification. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate supervised by Dr. Nicole Black, PhD, LPC-S, LCDC, RPT and is working toward an independent licensure.
Malia has clinical experience working with individuals and couples that have experiences anxiety, depression, bi-polar disorder, relational trauma, narcissistic abuse, sexual trauma, sexual shape, desire discrepancy, obsessive compulsive sexual behavior (OCSB)/problematic sexual behavior/sex “addiction, pelvic pain, Peyronie’s disease, painful intercourse, low and high libido issues, low/no sex relationships, consent issues, religion and sexuality issues, porn issues, orgasm difficulties, erectile difficulties, premature and delayed ejaculation, arousal guilt/anxiety arousal, LGBTQIA+ issues, erotic exploration w/in relationships, BDSM, kink, monogamy issues and consensual non-monogamy (open & polyamorous relationships). Malia also has experience working with creatives, HSPs (highly sensitive people) and high profile clients (attorneys, doctors, and C-level executives).
Malia is a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator and has experience working with individuals and couples that are contemplating marriage through premarital education & counseling and is registered with the Twogether in Texas program. Malia also sees individuals and couples navigating the divorce process (both during and after). She is trained in somatic therapy, trauma therapy, sex & relationship therapy, neuroscience, interpersonal neurobiology, attachment theory, Prepare/Enrich premarital and marriage assessments, narcissistic abuse recovery, yoga, meditation, tantra, hypnosis and past-life regression hypnosis.
Malia’s passion and specialty is helping people in relationships with self and others. Healthy relationships are the bedrock for having a healthy, fulfilling, harmonious long life. Her multifaceted approach to individuals and couple’s therapy is compassionate, non-judgmental, all-inclusive, integrative and holistic. She currently works with individuals ages 18 and up and accepts private pay.

GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE WEBSITE NOTICE
Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, the “No Surprises Act,” you have a right to receive a “good faith estimate” explaining how much your therapy services will cost. Healthcare providers are required to provide clients who do not have insurance or who choose not to use their insurance for therapy services with an estimate of the cost of those services.
· You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total cost of therapy services
· Make sure your therapist gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your appointment. You may also ask your therapy for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an appointment.
· If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate you can dispute the bill.
· Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
