Kaelyn D. Pate is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist – Associate supervised by Dr. Lisa Powell, PhD, LMFT-S. She has five years of experience in providing therapeutic services to children, adults, and families encountering a variety of presenting issues. These issues include struggles with anxiety and depression, identifying co-parenting skills and strengths, and building positive communication skills.
Her goal as a therapist is to help encourage her clients through struggles in their life. She facilitates change with them through providing a compassionate and curious space for exploring how to improve their mental health and wellbeing. Her approach is person-centered, with the belief that everyone holds within them the tools to finding the change they wish to see and helping them unlock it.
Her specialty areas include couples’ therapy, working with teens ages 11 and up, and anxiety and depression management. She utilizes Narrative therapy modality, and offers online teletherapy services for those located in the state of Texas. I am LGBTQ affirming and wish to help people of all communities gain access to positive mental health and wellbeing.
