Britni Huntley has a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas Tech University and has worked in the mental health field for seven years.
Britni is a passionate counselor who enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults. She has worked with a wide range of clients who have experienced trauma, abuse, neglect, substance use issues, grief, anxiety, depression, and other severe mental health issues. Additionally, she’s an advocate for clients who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community.
She is currently continuing her education in play therapy, trauma-informed care, and dissociative disorders. Britni is a member of the American Counseling Association and the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation.
Britni utilizes multiple therapy approaches and techniques to meet clients’ unique needs. She approaches clients by meeting them where they are with genuine acceptance. Britni encourages clients to develop greater self-awareness by processing their experiences, helping them learn new ways to approach and process life’s challenges. She provides nonjudgmental support and works with clients to identify effective ways to achieve their goals. Britni has completed EMDR basic training and can offer EMDR sessions.
Britni is available for virtual and in-person sessions at our 4601 66th St, Suite D Lubbock, TX 79414. She sees children ages 4+ and adults. She currently accepts Aetna, Team Choice, and private pay.
