Avery Holt, M.S., LMFT-Associate (supervised by Katrina Flores) is a systemic and experiential therapist who works with individuals, couples, and families to foster healing, connection, and growth. Avery earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Sciences from Texas Tech University in 2023, and completed a Master of Science in Couple, Marriage, and Family Therapy (COAMFTE-accredited) at Texas Tech University.
Avery has provided clinical services at the Texas Tech Family Therapy Clinic, the Children’s Behavioral Health Clinic, and Covenant Hospital’s Virtual Mental Health program. In these settings, she has worked with diverse populations, addressing challenges such as trauma, relational conflict, infidelity, substance use, depression, and anxiety.
With a strong grounding in experiential therapy, Avery creates space for clients to move beyond surface-level change and into authentic connection with themselves and others. Her work emphasizes the importance of lived experience, emotional expression, and relational engagement as tools for healing. Avery also integrates systemic theory and evidence-based practices, always tailoring treatment to the unique needs and strengths of each client.
Avery’s clinical interests include adolescent development, family systems impacted by addiction, sex therapy, and supporting neurodiverse individuals. Guided by compassion and inclusivity, Avery is committed to creating safe therapeutic environments where clients can explore, take risks, and discover new possibilities for growth.
