Jennifer Hardaway has a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the CACREP-accredited program at Sam Houston State University. She is currently working towards full licensure as an LPC associate under the supervision of Dr. Nicole Black, PhD, LPC-S, LCDC, RPT.
Jennifer’s knowledge about intimate partner violence, child abuse, sexual assault, and adverse childhood experiences is essential in supporting victims’ transformation into healed survivors. Her goal is to continue education for trauma-informed care, generational cycles of trauma, EMDR therapy, addiction, play therapy, and self-care practices.
Jennifer works with clients who strive to overcome and cope with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, anger, ADHD, ASD, suicidal ideation, self-esteem, divorce, addiction, and LGBTQ-IA+-related issues. She has experience conducting individual and group sessions for clients who are children 3+, adolescents, and adults.
Jennifer believes that everybody deserves to be validated, heard, and accepted for who they are and where they are in life. She provides clients with a safe space to discuss and explore complex subject matter. Jennifer currently accepts Aetna insurance and private pay. Evening appointments are available.
