Shelby Padgett has a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lubbock Christian University. She became fully licensed as a counselor in February of 2024.
Shelby works with individuals and groups who experience mental illnesses that include anxiety disorders, mood disorders, schizophrenia, borderline personality disorder, and psychosis. She utilizes various therapy approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. Shelby helps clients explore their emotions and develop healthy, effective coping mechanisms. She currently sees clients who are 18+.
Shelby Padgett currently accepts private pay and will soon be able to take Aetna, Team Choice, United Healthcare, Baylor Scott & White, and Tricare West. She is available for in-person and virtual sessions and sees clients at our Lubbock office.
